Netball Co-ordinator/Coach

Our Netball Co-Ordinator/Coach ensures smooth operation, promotion, and continuity of the Club G Sports program by working closely with and communicating with the Director of Sport, Coordinator of Junior Years Sports and other coaches as appropriate.

You will be a key link in ensuring that all Glennie girls have an opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular session for their level of development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operations, supervision and administration of Club G Netball as per the School’s term roster
  • Ensure teams are on the court at the appropriate time 
  • Ensure umpire allocations are adhered to and rearranging umpiring roster when applicable
  •  Assist coaches to follow up with missing players
  • Injury management and appropriate follow up

A current first aid qualification and Sport or Coaching related qualification, Level 1 minimum and proven record of providing a high standard of coaching and training program design will be highly regarded. Experience in coaching students of all school-age is highly desirable.

The School enjoys an excellent reputation for the quality of its programs, care and support offered to students, as well as the commitment, dedication and professionalism of its staff.

Club G Netball Coach (Prep to Year 12)

Are you a suitably qualified Netball Coach?

Do you enjoy coaching young athletes of all abilities to improve their skills and foster a love of the game?

This is a contract, part-time, term-time position commencing Term 1 2021 running through to the end of Term 3 2021. The current hourly base pay rate is $25.61, and Superannuation is also entitled at either 9.5% or 12.75% depending on employee contribution. You will work a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 10 hours a week depending on qualifications and experience.

French and French Immersion Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable French and French Immersion Teacher, who will be a driving force in The Glennie School’s highly regarded French Immersion Program.

The role includes teaching Australian Curriculum French in Years 7 to Year 10, French in the School’s Immersion Program in Years 7 to Year 9, and QCAA General Syllabus subjects French and French Extension in Years 11 and Years 12

Senior Literature and English Teacher - Contract Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Senior  Literature and English teacher on a full-time contract basis from Term 2, 2021 until the end of Term 1, 2022. Teachers with a second teaching area in the Humanities (eg; Legal Studies, Economics, Business) are encouraged to apply.
