Years 1 and 2 students are currently learning about old as opposed to new things and how things have changed over time in their History lessons, in particular, transportation.
Louisa’s Uncle Mark and Grandmother Hazel kindly drove three vintage cars to Glennie Junior Years this week for the students and staff to view. Our students were amazed by the 1934 three-window Ford Coupe, Ford Fairlane and Chevrolet on display. The students particularly noted the shapes of each of the cars, the fact they had no airbags and the wind-up windows.
We thank Mark and Hazel for transporting their treasured vehicles for us to learn.
