This week in boarding 26 July

Term 3 has kicked off with a very busy start as the girls have been involved in a variety of activities already. Several students have attended Parkrun, Fairholme Boarder's Social and the Newtown Netball Cup, and we have an extensive activity and enrichment program planned for the term. This will include a trip to the Zoo, Bunnings workshops, a visit to Inflatable World, a day out at Southbank and much more.  If you haven't had the chance to return your daughter's signed permission form please do so as soon as possible.

Our Boarder Mother's Luncheon is on Friday, 2 August and I encourage Mums and significant female family members to come along. It is a great way to meet and connect with other families who share a common journey. The girls will be coming across to the luncheon so they can meet and introduce their Mums to other guests.

We have welcomed seven new students into boarding this term who have been delightful to get to know. The girls have been going out of their way to make the new students feel welcome. Also joining us this term are five new Gap students who will be staying with us for the next year. The girls will be involved in activities in the day and boarding school, as well as helping out on shifts. We welcome these students and hope their Gap year experience is a wonderful one.
