This week we celebrated Queensland School Library Week. This year our theme is ‘School libraries create connections’. We are highlighting the many connections between students and the world that are facilitated by the school library. Qualified teacher-librarians connect students with digital literacy skills, teachers with curriculum resources, and foster a reading culture at their school that connects students to the wider world. You may have seen 4 of our Year 5 students on the cover of Tuesday's edition of The Chronicle! Special activities have been running in the Junior Years Library during lunchtimes, and some lucky girls who were 'caught reading' during their spare time have won a prize.
