In the latest edition of ‘Style Magazine’ you can read a heartwarming story penned by Leandri Van Staden about Megan Ellis (GOG 2011) and her adventure aboard the Africa Mercy. Now a nurse employed on the orthopaedic operating ward of a local private hospital, it is evident Megan is changing lives in the local community and overseas.
At Glennie, Megan spent some time as a school-based trainee swimming instructor in the Aquatic Centre. It would be nice to think that this love of water had something to do with her compassionate journey to Africa.
Enjoy reading Megan’s amazing story. Congratulations Megan and bless your compassionate heart.
