Art show set to be biggest yet

A great line-up of art, entertainment, food and fun has been put together for next weekend’s Glennie Community Art Show.

The biennial art event showcases the talents of artists from the wider school community - current and past Glennie girls, staff and their immediate families.

Entertainment at the Gala Opening Night includes the Glennie Chamber Strings, Arts Captain Jessica Rutledge in a solo set, and teacher and Old Girl Kathy Lee and her musical partner Duncan who make up folk/rock duo, Wayward.

Glennie family business Luxe Platters by Ash and Wearing Memories Wine Merchants are also on board to provide delicious refreshments.

The Glennie Old Girls’ Association is grateful for the support of the Parents and Friends Association to host the art show.

Opening night (from 6:00 pm on Saturday, 9 March) tickets are just $25 and are available online.

The art show will be open during the Glennie Fair on Sunday, 10 March in the assembly hall.

There are six wonderful prizes in the multi-draw raffle including a framed print by art show convenor, Teresa Mundt.

All art lovers are welcome!
