Head Lights

wac-2Is it better to be a hippo or a fish? The wonderful animal theme currently in our Prep unit makes me think about how much we can learn from our fellow-creatures. Fish in water are swift and efficient: out of their element they are hopeless. Hippos are buoyant and graceful in water, and tend mainly to wallow and snooze: on land, they are surprisingly speedy, and can easily outrun a human. Overall, hippos are much more versatile than fish and make the most of whatever element they’re in. We hope Glennie girls can be as adaptable as the mighty hippopotamus.
