Head Lights

wasFrom the Head of Junior Years

Sometimes we are concerned by the behaviour exhibited by our girls and we constantly remind them of the expectations that both the School, and you as parents, have for them.

Last week, I received an email from the National Library in Canberra following the recent visit by our Year 6 girls and I quote: “I just wanted to say how absolutely delightful your group from the Glennie School was last week. They were all just so keen and eager to do heaps of stuff and so well behaved. Some of the girls are even published authors. How good is that!”

This week, a large envelope arrived on my desk from The Australian War Memorial. Inside there was a large certificate presented to us for the exemplary behaviour of our girls during their visit.

How proud that makes us all feel. You represented your school and families well, girls. Keep it up!

Mr Steve Warren
