Head Lights

devWhat a great way to end the term! The weather was perfect, there was lots to see and do and plenty of people to share the day with. Grandparents’ Day in the Middle and Senior Years was again a resounding success. Of almost equal importance, I had an important update from our Prep group today. They have spent a term learning about recycling and the environment and have had to chase down environmental aliens such as Oily Ollie and Wasteful Wally. Today they caught the last of these awful aliens, Putrid Pollution, who is now ready for reassignment. The teachers and support staff in Prep have done a great job to create a zealous and knowledgeable group of environmental warriors!

So, in this final Headlines as Acting Head, I would like to thank you for your support over the past term. It has been a busy and, at times, challenging term, where we have all felt part of a very special community. I would also like to especially acknowledge Ms Tonia Gloudemans, Ms Alison Bedford and, most recently, Mrs Brenda Suhr, who have all taken on ‘acting’ roles as well this term, exercised with considerable skill and professionalism. Enjoy the Spring break in readiness for Term 4.

Mrs Donna Evans
