Head Lights

devSchools everywhere have aspirational goals of truly being considered a ‘community’. It’s a word that is often overused. At a general level it could be defined as “an interacting population of various kinds of individuals (as species) in a common location”. Obviously, it needs to be much more than that. At its best, a real community engenders a sense of identity, fellowship and even kinship. This is what we saw happen this week as the families, students and staff of the School galvanised to support those affected by last weekend’s terrible accident. Most sincerely, thank you for all that you have done and will continue to do.

Mrs Donna Evans
Acting Head of School
