Head Lights

wasRecently, I had the pleasure of meeting with representatives of the Pure Land Learning College. This group has a plan to develop Toowoomba into a world-renowned model city of peace and harmony and is currently in Paris presenting this to UNESCO. Toowoomba has distinct characteristics. Our residents bring with them differing faiths, ethnicities and cultures. Much work has been done already in bringing together people of many faiths and this initiative has the support of Toowoomba’s churches, our Regional Council, and many other local organisations. Holding a forum for young leaders from Toowoomba’s schools, including Glennie, will be the next step towards this.
