Outside School Hours Care
At The Glennie School OSHC – Pitstop, we pride ourselves on creating a safe and caring environment that nurtures the individuality of each child. The program integrated into the OSHC, complements learning at school and at home.
The incorporated activities include arts and crafts, outdoor and indoor play, cooking, and excursions.
OSHC and Vacation Care are available to all enrolled Glennie students and their siblings.
Hours of Operation
- Before School Care (Pitstop): Monday – Friday 6:30am – 8:10am.
- After School Care (Pitstop and Kindy Care): Monday – Friday 3:15pm – 6pm.
- Vacation Care (Pitstop and Kindy Care): Monday – Friday 6:30am – 6pm.
Children are not permitted on the premises until opening hours.
Pitstop
Pitstop is before and after school care for our school-aged children.
Kindy Care
Kindy Care is after school care for 3 to 5-year-old children. Hosted in a space specifically designed for this age group, Kindy Care is available on any day a kindergarten child is enrolled in The Glennie Community Kindergarten. Kindy Care is committed to the Early Learning Years Framework for Australia (EYLF).
Glennie OSHC Educators
Pitstop and Kindy Care educators are qualified and experienced in different areas of child development, care, health, and welfare. All educators hold a Blue Card issued by Blue Card Services Queensland and a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
