Italian Treasures - 2019

30 November 2018

Thank you for your support of our ‘Italian Treasures’ tour. It promises to be an enriching and wonderful travel opportunity in the September and October school holidays next year.  We have had strong interest from members of our School community. Expressions of Interest can be sent to Mr Leigh Duffin. The tour is open to students of Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 in 2019 and parents and family. There are still places available so please take the opportunity over the Christmas holidays to consider if you or your daughter might like to join us.

Many of our destinations are UNESCO World Heritage Listed. The tour is open to anyone with an inquiring mind who is prepared to support everyone in the group. It will be particularly valuable to students of Ancient and Modern History, Geography, Art, Music, Religious Education and many other disciplines too.  There will be plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the rich diversity of culture and people along the way as we seek La Dolce Vita.

Some Italian treasures:

Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, Padua, Ravenna, Assisi, Naples, Capri, Montecassino, Tivoli, Siena, San Giminagno
Umbria, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast, Campania, Lazio, Lombardy and Veneto
Michelangelo's 'Statue of David', the Sistine Chapel, Uffizi Gallery, Vatican Museums, Doges Palace, Villa D'este, Herculaneum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, La Scala, and the Pantheon

Deposits will not be due until the beginning of the new school year in late January and early February. It will be an incredible chance to discover more about the history, culture and people of Italy. You will make new friends and make memories that will last a lifetime.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me by phone (07) 4688 8821 or email
