Why are you passionate about girls education?
I enjoy encouraging girls to make good choices in their life, and to become independent life long learners.

Glennie is an amazing community, with a strong team of staff, beautiful girls and supportive parents.

What is something others may not know about you?
I am very passionate about holistic health and nutrition.

What excites you about teaching?
I love the creative process of planning educational experiences. I never take for granted the opportunities we have to impact children's lives. I am particularly excited about teaching the 21st century skills, such as communication, critical thinking and information literacy.

What do you think the future of teaching looks like?
We will always need teachers! Teacher librarians, in particular, are information experts, and they are needed more now than ever before.

What are your professional achievements and roles?
I have taught all year levels, Prep to Year 7, as a classroom teacher. I have worked as a Teacher Librarian for over 20 years. I lead the Online Safety team at Glennie. I am the Vice President of the Queensland School Library Association and a committee member of the national Students Need School Libraries campaign.
