Why are you passionate about girls education?
I enjoy teaching a subject that is a little bit different to most. I love it when the girls finally understand something they've struggled with, gain confidence in recognising the characters, or when they feel comfortable enough to get competitive with the Principal, playing games in the classroom.

What sets Glennie apart from the other schools?
Not only is the school an incredibly picturesque place to be, but there is also a wonderful community feel at Glennie. It is a pleasure to teach here.

What is something others may not know about you?
I have been an athletics official since 2010. I have officiated at many state and national athletics championships, as well as at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

What do you think the future of teaching looks like?
I think second language acquisition will still be an integral part of future success in a wide range of careers, and will certainly open many more doors for the girls. How that will be delivered remains to be seen, but I believe the human element of teaching plays a vital role in capturing and engaging students' interest.
