Why are you passionate about girls education?
I am passionate about giving girls and boys a positive introduction to their schooling journey through their Kindergarten year.

What sets Glennie apart from the other schools?
Glennie has a calm and gentle atmosphere. Through the varied opportunities Glennie offers, every child is valued, nurtured and encouraged to be the best version of themselves.

What is something others may not know about you?
My first overseas trip was a two week holiday in Antarctica.

What excites you about teaching?
Teaching 3 and 4-year-olds is always exciting. At the beginning of the day, there is no way you can predict those little moments that are about to happen. For example, this year at the Athletics Carnival, we had to stop our sack races because the wellbeing of a little worm quickly become the children's top priority. It had wriggled to the top of the grass and the children were concerned that it would be squashed. We couldn't continue our sack race until after we'd all had a pat or a hold of the little worm, and we'd found a spot on the oval where the children thought it would be safe.

What do you think the future of teaching looks like?
There will continue to be new ideas and new tools, however, teaching will always be about connecting with students and guiding them in their learning process.

What are your professional achievements and roles?
I have taught every year level from Kindergarten to Year 7.
