Reverend Sharon Mitchell held the Year 12 Valedictory Eucharist and Graduation on the Chapel Lawn last Friday (20 November). It was a stunning day with all invited guests seated under the shade of the trees. The service included a final entrance by our graduating Seniors and the presentation of their Senior certificates. Thank you to the Chapel Committee for their assistance with this service.
From the service, parents moved to the top of the oval in preparation for the girls' final event - the oval farewell. Heads of Houses were on hand with much-needed tissues for them all. They were joined by the remainder of the school, both girls and staff. Mrs Farrell and Mrs Willmington were waiting in front of the clock tower for the Seniors to do their traditional run down the oval, final war cry and confetti cannon explosion. Special thanks to The Party Hut for making this occasion extra special with a balloon entrance and confetti cannons. Many hugs and tears were then had with all the Glennie girls in the centre of the oval as they shared their final farewells.
