Years 1 and 2 students have been studying dinosaurs as part of their Science unit this term. The girls have learnt how to identify which dinosaurs were carnivores and which were herbivores, based on the study of their fossilised teeth. They have enjoyed looking at ferns to find out more about the diet of dinosaurs. Last week they made a terrarium to demonstrate their understanding of dinosaur habitats. Bones borrowed from the Cobb and Co. Museum have provided valuable hands-on experiences to enhance the unit of work.
