The Toowoomba Spinners, Weavers and Dyers Groups Inc. are offering the opportunity for struggling farmers to try something new, enabling them to leave the farm for a couple of days.
The group is running six craft workshops, and offering three places per workshop to people who are struggling - to take their mind off of everyday life.
The majority of workshops are for two days and will be held over the weekend, starting on 7-8 December. Workshops include: indigo dyeing and shibori, overshot weaving on a shafted loom, sculptural felting, Irish crochet, knitting from a graph and novelty spinning.
If you are interested in participating, email email@example.com with your details and the workshop you are interested in by 16 November 2019.
Arrangements can be made to billet attendees who are too far from home to return on Saturday night .
