If you heard or saw the girls performing on the Eisteddfod stages this week it would have been very easy to completely forget that these same girls performed in a musical only two weeks ago. We are very proud of the high level of success achieved at the Eisteddfod this year.
We will share our ensemble and individual results with you below, however, results simply can’t convey how much passion our girls performed with, or how humble they were when they congratulated other musicians and dancers, or how much self-discipline they demonstrated in learning their parts, or the relentless dedication the staff gave to the girls, or the pride the girls felt in themselves each time they walked on and off the stage. To watch the girls grow and during their performances is truly wonderful and to say that as a department we are proud of the girls is an understatement. The girls have performed incredibly well.
I would like to make a special mention of Laura Hunt, who performed an outstanding solo as part of a magnificent performance by Choral Group. Well done Laura and Choral Group! It is important to also thank the Arts Captains, Jessica Rutledge and Alice Armitage who led, and supported both the Middle and Senior Years groups most capably. Thank you, girls, from all of the girls and staff involved in the Performing Arts for the great job you are doing.
Thank you to our dedicated Performing Arts Staff for your fine work this year:
