Last Saturday was one of two closed weekends for the year for boarders. We made the most of this by heading off to Burleigh Heads for a surf excursion. The girls enjoyed team building, surfing and bodyboarding lessons. The weather was perfect and we all came back knowing each other better, and a little exhausted. All in all, it was a great day and if you would like to see more photos, boarding parents can request access to the Glennie Boarding Families Facebook group.
Other activities we have enjoyed this week have included court games with our new Gap student, Beth Wright who joins us from the United Kingdom. We’ve also had opportunities to do Yoga, cook brownies, enjoy a spin class, enter a show colouring competition and make a teacup garden. The activities have been well received by students and are assisting them in getting to know others and settle into their boarding routine. Students have also had opportunities to join Chess Club, go for a casual swim at the pool on a Sunday afternoon and will attend Line Dancing tonight. The Enrichment Program has now been sent out and if for any reason you have not received it, please contact the school so we can direct it to you.
