Last weekend, a group of our Glennie boarding girls and staff decided to try to help out those who were out fighting fires. They banded together to make a selection of delicious snacks and meals to drop off to the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services staff on Sunday afternoon.
I was so very proud of our girls for their initiative and contributions to help their community. The students had such a positive disposition and were happy to be doing something to contribute to the efforts.
We received a message from one of the employees in the station to express their gratitude and let us know that "the brownies were delicious".
This weekend, we have an exciting and fun filled agenda which includes a trip to Movieworld and a boarder break up followed by the School carols service. The girls are excited about the trip and are looking forward to celebrating the year together.
