We have just come to the end of another busy week in boarding and have enjoyed our annual Valentine-themed dinner on Thursday night. Thanks to the boarding committee and the kitchen staff for organising a beautiful dinner for us with lots of prizes.
Sports commitments kicked off in a big way this week, where girls are playing a range of games including futsal, touch football, AFL, water polo and volleyball. In addition to this, there has been a great offering of fun after-school activities that saw our girls cooking and icing cupcakes, making an insect hotel, designing cards for the regional art show, and keeping fit with boxercise.
I will also take this opportunity to express how proud I am of our boarding students who are spending time knitting warm clothes in preparation for a winter homeless drive and seeking opportunities to help others. We will participate in Rosies this Sunday and look forward to finding more ways to help out in our community. We also enjoyed a beautiful chapel time this week on the lawn and were reminded to look after ourselves and one another.
