Our Boarder uniform item of clothing this year is a pair of shorts. Many of the girls have now tried on samples and we will be placing our order with the manufacturer before the holidays. Please email your order to us before 3pm on Tuesday, 17 September. Pictures of the design have been sent via email and show the colours and wording. Thanks to Miss Putland for organising this venture for our boarding community.
We will be holding our Boarder Parent Representative Term 3 meeting on Thursday, 19 September in the Glennie Room at 11am. This is a very busy day for the girls as there is Grandparents’ Day, Ballgames Carnival and the Colour Run. It will be wonderful to see as many of our family members at the various events as possible. It is not too late to organise tickets for the Colour Run; please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about obtaining a ticket.
Recipes are starting to come in for our Boarders’ Cookbook. We are excited to be compiling this and look forward to sharing this with our community. If you haven't yet had the opportunity to submit a recipe, please send your family favourite into Miss Putland. We will be looking to publish this in Term 4. We would like to use some of these recipes in our afternoon and weekend cooking activities next year.
Over the holidays, we will be sending out the enrichment and activities program, to both parents and students. There will be some compulsory activities occasionally on the weekends, as well as the end of year trip on our final closed weekend with the option of a theme park or beach/Harbour Town visit. If you have a chance to sit down and go through the enrichment program with your daughters, please do; it will encourage them to try new things. It also gives families a good picture of what their daughter participates in on the weekends.
