What’s common between a honeycomb, a pond drying off and lava solidifying into basalt? They all follow the same process of surface tension.
After exploring the rock formation and rock cycle this term, the Year 8 French Immersion students have tried to reproduce the phenomenon of surface tension with soap bubbles. All the girls participated enthusiastically to produce the most beautiful 3D-shapes.
A special mention for Savannah, still in Vanuatu, who is also present in each lesson via Google Hangouts.
