Seniors Pool Jump

Marking the end of their Term 3 exams, The Glennie School Year 12 students made a splash at The Clive Berghofer Sports Centre on Wednesday as they participated in their traditional annual pool jump.

The girls will dress up for their formal and other treasured School traditions next term but for now they are commemorating their school achievements and how quickly their time at Glennie is passing.

Head of Middle and Senior Years, Mr Russell Baldock, said “it is a celebration of their entire academic life from their beginning as a kindergarten, prep or even Year 7 student.”

The slightly shorter dresses and pigtails, which are an integral part of the pool jump tradition, are reminiscent of their earlier days as younger students and a poignant reminder of how much they have grown academically and personally.

“What a wonderful way for Glennie girls to celebrate their academic journey,” Mr Baldock said.
