‘School of the Year’ win for Glennie Equestrian

To round off the successes of The Glennie Equestrian Team in 2018, the School was awarded “School of the Year” at the recent 2018 Equestrian Queensland annual awards ceremony. Glennie was nominated in this category along with West Moreton Anglican College, Fairholme College and Stuartholme School. All of these schools performed at a high level and had some outstanding results. Sarah Coggan, 2019 Equestrian captain along with Ellie Reedy, 2018 Equestrian captain were most excited to accept the award on behalf of the School.

The award recognises an Equestrian Queensland affiliated school that has set itself apart from other schools through its high standard of organisation, governance, community engagement and its resounding success. The school provides opportunities for riders, volunteers, administrators and officials to develop within and outside the school environment.

Well done team! We wish them every success at the Sports Darling Downs Awards ceremony this Saturday night where the team has been entered for the Sports Darling Downs Team of the Year.
