Safer Internet Day

We take Cybersafety very seriously at The Glennie School.  February 5 was Safer Internet Day, which focussed on the 4Rs - Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Reasoning.  Mrs Miegel presented a session to girls in Years 7 - 9, addressing some of the online challenges they face. Statistics show that Cyberbullying is most common amongst girls in this age group.  Parents, please read the latest edition of Cyber BYTES, which will keep you informed about current trends and issues. Also, watch this video from the Queensland Police.

Girls were encouraged to use our new anonymous online reporting form Speak Up@Glennie to report both positive and negative behaviours.
