QCAA Assessors

Ms Tonia Gloudemans, Mrs Crystal Hede, Dr Alison Bedford, Ms Ku Lacey and Mrs Deirdre Sinnamon travelled to Brisbane last weekend to participate in the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) endorsement meeting.  These staff members have trained to endorse assessment in their subjects as part of the QCAA's quality assurance processes for the implementation of the QCE system.

In the new QCE system, summative internal assessment instruments for all General and General (Extension) subjects and Essential English and Essential Mathematics must be endorsed (approved) by QCAA before they are administered with students.

These meetings are a valuable opportunity to work and network with other subject leaders in Queensland with over 1000 teachers in attendance.
