How do plants drink water? That was a question in Prep recently. We predicted that they would drink water up through their stems. Then we tested our prediction by giving some white flowers coloured water to drink.
Guess what? It worked!
The flowers sucked up the coloured water through their stems and the white flowers showed the colour they drank.
We have also been learning about our five senses. We explored a model of a human ear and investigated sound waves and different pitches with tuning forks and water.
