National Songwriting Competition 2019
Every year, students across Australia are invited to put pen to paper and enter their original song in ACMF’s annual National Songwriting Competition. Winners receive prize-money which can be allocated towards musical equipment or tuition. Entries for 2019 are due by Thursday 29th August (Term 3, week 7). This year, the entry requirement is an MP3 recording and a copy of the lyrics for your piece. Please see Mrs Davidson if you would like to book a recording room at the PAC for your submission.
APRA AMCOS Young Songwriter of the Year
$5000 towards musical equipment or tuition for the best songwriter in 2019.
Songwriting School of the Year
$5000 towards musical equipment or resources for the best School entry in 2019.
All entries, years 4 to 12
Allan Kendall Award $1,500. This special judge's discretionary prize will be awarded for the most creative and original composition of the 2019 Competition.

Toowoomba Woodwind Competition 2019
This year The Glennie School will be hosting the Toowoomba Woodwind Competition. This event is considered a pre-meet for woodwind students entering the Toowoomba Eisteddfod. The competition will be held at the PAC on Sunday, June 16th this year, with entries closing on Friday 31st May.
