Metiisto shares sweet story

The Year 8A and 8C semester two Business Studies and Entrepreneurship classes are completing their marketing assignment, which requires them to create and design a marketing campaign for the new chocolate product they have just created for Cadburys.

To provide a “real world” experience, we were fortunate to have as our guest speakers Mr and Mrs Smith of Toowoomba, who are the owners of Metiisto Artisan Chocolates. They spoke to the girls about the manufacturing and marketing of their award-winning product which is sold in Australia and also exported to the US and Europe.

Metiisto Artisan Chocolates has recently beaten culinary masters from across the country to win the coveted Champion Australian Small Producer title at the recent prestigious Australian Food Awards.

After their presentation and answering many questions asked by the students, Zara Haynes and Abby Wardle thanked Mr and Mrs Smith, for providing them with such an invaluable learning experience.

You can find more about Metiisto Artisan Chocolate via their FaceBook page.
