Glennie Years 7 to 10 girls participated in the Margaret Sharpe and Tim Barratt Swimming Carnival on Friday, 22 November. The day began with an intense Monster Swim, where all girls swam as many laps as they could in order to gain points for their House. The carnival then consisted of many different relays and 50 metre events which each House participated in. The aim of the day was to get as many girls as possible swimming for their year levels in their House and when the day was finished, it was clear this was achieved.
Congratulations to all the girls who swam in this event. We hope you enjoyed the day and you are excited for the Inter-house swimming in Term 1 of next year.
Thank you to the Heads of House and Year 11 students who helped run this carnival so smoothly.
