Junior Years SHEP

Junior Years Performing Arts are very excited and proud to announce that nine students from Glennie are attending the 2020 Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) for primary school students.  Congratulations to Milla Baddock (voice), Georgia Burke (violin), Palakh Garg (viola), Caitlyn Garratt (voice), Shari Gilbert (trumpet), Paige Markham (cello), Savannah Patterson (viola), Ellie Stenzel (trumpet) and Charlotte Tranter (voice) for being awarded an invitation, and making the commitment, to participate in this fantastic event.

SHEP Primary, held over the weekend of December 5 and 6, provides the students with the opportunity to work intensively with a team of eminent conductors from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.  At the conclusion of the program students will represent their schools in a grand finale concert.

It is an outstanding achievement to have so many girls representing Glennie Junior Years participate in this prestigious event.  The Junior Years Performing Arts department wishes all girls the best of luck.
