At the end of Term 2, the amazing girls in Years 3 to 5 in the Instrumental Music program put on a showcase of their talents for each other in Junior Years Assembly Hall. Our fantastic Development Office was kind enough to record this event for parents’ viewing pleasure.
The Junior Years Instrumental Music program is a feature of the Junior Years curriculum, providing all girls in Years 3 to 5 an immersive experience learning to play string, brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Girls in Year 3 alternate learning between string and brass or woodwind instruments, before focusing on a preferred instrument in Year 4. By the end of Year 5, all girls are pooled together to form the foundation of a Junior Years Orchestra.
