Junior Years celebrated Book Day on Monday with wildly colourful costumes, music, craft and lots of fun. Highlights of the day included the Drama Collective performance of The Day the Crayons Quit and our Buddies Book Clue Scavenger Hunt. Each cohort enjoyed a literature-based activity led by our Library Monitors, and the Houses used all of their creativity to make curious creatures. We were entertained by the Perform Educational show The Greatest Discovery and energy was restored by our sausage sizzle lunch. A great day was had by all!
Our visiting performers commented that they had never seen another school with such magnificent costumes! Take a bow, parents! Thank you also to everyone who supported the bedtime stories on Wednesday night. Mrs Harris, Mrs Roper and Mrs Miegel enjoyed reading to you.
