Earlier in the year 18 girls across Years 7 to 10 chose to sit ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) exams in Mathematics, English, Digital Technologies and Science. ICAS Assessments are designed to recognise academic excellence and students are assessed on their ability to apply classroom learning to new contexts using higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills. Every year over a million students participate in ICAS around the world.
Most of these results have been finalised and today we celebrate those students for their involvement and successes.
Achieving a Distinction in this competition is an exceptional result, indicating the student performed in the top 10% of entrants.
Congratulations to the following students:
Kate Roper in English
Amy Forknall in English and Digital Technologies
Prisha Gupte in English
Mr Tim Causer
