House Farewells for Seniors

Every year, Middle and Senior Years girls gather in their House groups to farewell the Seniors. It is also an opportunity for the younger girls to meet the incoming House committees.

Each House celebrates in a unique way. Webber girls exchange Willbes that have been handed down through many generations of Seniors and each year the graduating Senior adds a personal touch to her Willbe before passing it onto a Year 11 girl in the Webber Willbe Exchange.

Donaldson’s Duck of the Year Runner-up awards were given to a girl from each year level for their outstanding contributions to the House.  The overall Duck of the Year trophy went to the student who not only gave her all for the House but someone who also demonstrated good sportsmanship and genuine support for her peers. Congratulations to the following Ducks:

Year 7:  Veronica Kerr

Year 8:  Emily Eather

Year 9:  Lily McGill

Year 10:  Kari Donaldson

Year 11:  Skye-Maree Brameld

Year 12:  Emma Hutchings

Overall:  Matilda Leicht

Hale House members gathered as Frog Families and each family presented their Year 12 with a small gift and their annual ‘Frog of the Year’ Award was presented to Ruby Dyer.  Hale House members also presented a small gift to the staff - our "Hale House Heros". Gifts of appreciation for the Year 12 Committee were presented by the Year 11 captains.  Plaques were hand-over gifts to signify the actual handover of Hale from one group of seniors to the next.

Tufnell House members participated in a special Eucharist and then enjoyed a picnic on the Chapel Lawn. The House Spirit and participation trophy (‘Emma Allison Carla and Rachel Woods Trophy’)  was presented to Tahlia Dwan.  The ‘Hawley Cup for citizenship’ was presented to Sandra Miller.

All Houses celebrated with a cake in House colours.
