Glennie girls join representative ranks

Several Glennie girls played representative touch football for the Toowoomba Twisters at the 2019 Junior State Cup held in Hervey Bay during the holidays.

Glennie parent, Mr Terry McSweeney, was busy running the event with Queensland Touch Football, as well as coaching Bridget's U14 team.  A number of Glennie parents and staff members including Mrs Leicht, Mrs Naumann, and Mr and Mrs Kowitz were spotted coaching and managing teams at the three-day competition.

In Division One, the U16 girls were sadly knocked out in the quarter-final, U14 girls made it to the semis and U12s made it to the finals and were awarded runner-ups in the State.

Great job and welcome home girls.
