Year 8 student, Georgia Clay, and her sister Addie, who will become a Glennie girl next year, recently had a coaching session with some of Australia’s Olympic softballers.
Addie is undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has been doing some online learning with our iLoveGlennieSchooling program.
Aussie Spirit legend and four-time Olympian, Melanie Roche, has coached both Georgia and Addie before and she was very happy to have two-time Olympian and Spirit Captain, Stacey Porter, join the session. Leigh Martin, founder of the Play For A Cure Foundation, and the girls first softball coach, was also on hand to lend some encouragement.

Thank you to the girls’ mum, Sarah, for sharing these beautiful photos with us.
