This week, the Gardening Club has been busy!
After pulling out the existing plants and weeds, and preparing the soil in the past weeks, our seedlings were ready to be planted outside the hospitality building.
Soon, we hope to be harvesting herbs, veggies and leafy greens, including parsley, basil, zucchinis, cucumbers, spinach, lemons, limes and avocados. The produce will go to Cafe G and the Hospitality department to provide fresh ingredients for their cooking.
A big thanks to Mrs Johns and the Glennie Maintenance team for providing us with everything we need, and the amazing girls who came out on Wednesday morning before school and got their hands dirty!
