This week we received the news that on-campus schooling will start from Monday, 11 May. I think without exception that has been seen as good news. Our Prep to Year 1 classes and our Year 11 and 12 classes will be the first to return. The hope is that this will be successful and that by Monday, 25 May all year levels will be back on-campus.
We will continue to have some restrictions on what we can offer. For example, sport will not restart immediately and there are still restrictions on assemblies. Nevertheless, we are still thankful for the start of the return to school.
There have been plenty of detailed communications about what is ahead for every year group and it is best that they are referred to for specific details. With so much to read I do not intend to add too much via this article other than to communicate the joy I feel (and this is the opinion of the staff) that the girls are starting to return to campus!
To those who have a further two weeks at home, I think you will enjoy the gentle changes we have made to the iLoveGlennieSchooling program. It is designed to re-connect you, in a seamless way, to your return to school on Monday, 25 May.
Best wishes to all for Mother’s Day!
