From The Principal 18 September 2020

Well, the end of the term has arrived. My heartfelt congratulations to the girls and staff for working so well together to maintain a term that can be looked back on with pride.  Yes, I know, parents deserve considerable congratulations for navigating the term also! The tiredness at the end of term will undoubtedly enjoy the refreshment of a short break. As always, I encourage the girls and families to assist in filling the time with activity that promotes relaxation in a positive way. Activity with friends, sport, music and reading are traditional options. Netflix can, and should, have limitations. Doing nothing rarely ends up being refreshing. It certainly adds little to the personality.

This is my last day at the School. I thank all in the community for the support I have received over the last year. I thanked the girls at recent assemblies. It has been a wonderful experience to spend the last year at Glennie. I say with confidence that it is a school to be immensely proud of and I am confident that the culture of the School has strength that will ensure this school continues as a leading place of education, character development and creativity of ideas. I leave with great memories.

Enjoy the term ahead. Term 4 is always busy but it is also filled with the best activity and celebrations.

Mr Peter Crawley
