From The Head Of Boarding 19 March

We are looking forward to seeing many of our Year 12 Parents for our Simmons House Dinner on Tuesday, 30 March at The Shed function room, The Royal on Ruthven. A big thanks to Mrs Chris Packer for arranging this event which will be our only Parent Representative function for the term for Year 12 families.

We are looking forward to seeing the girls performing and are hoping to have some fun with our "guess the baby" photo competition.

Last weekend, five of our students attended the Rosies’ Sunday outreach. The girls did a wonderful job interacting with the patrons and making burgers. It was a scorching hot day, so cold drinks were very popular. We will be running a drive to collect 2-minute noodles in a cup as that was a staple that was running a bit low. As winter approaches, we will also be looking to supply Rosies with warm clothes and blankets that they can give to the patrons who may be sleeping rough.

The last few weeks have seen the girls participating in lots of different activities as part of their enrichment program. We enjoyed Kloud9 last Saturday and some recreational swimming. This weekend, our Year 7 and 8 students are preparing for camp which they are very excited about - it is a great way to wrap up Term 1.
