Spring holidays have been anticipated with much excitement this year, between COVID and external exams, our girls are most definitely ready for the break. Our Year 12 girls have been sitting their mock exams in preparation for the external exams next term. I commend the girls on the commitment they have made to these trials and their ongoing dedication to study between now and the end of their program.
The term has had many highlights including excursions and celebrations, day trips and opportunities to try new things. Our trip to Queen Mary Falls to culminate our enrichment program was a beautiful experience, the waterfalls were magnificent and the lorikeets were friendly in their interactions.
We also celebrated Spring with a BBQ last week and the girls were delighted to reconnect with family tables.
In Term 4 we see the Year 11s stepping into their roles as leaders, guided by their Year 12 predecessors. We thank our Year 12 Boarding committee members who have done an outstanding job. Thanks, Lucy Stanford, Amelia Wood, Ella Christie, Kate Godden and Kate Johnstone for your outstanding contributions to our community.
We welcome our incoming committee: Genevieve Dean (Captain), Michaela Horn (Vice-Captain), Ellen Bredhauer, Ella Hick, Mia Irie, Georgia Keating, Nicole Linke, Jennifer Sheehan and Amity Warner. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with lots of exciting adventures for our community.
