From The Chaplain 31 July 2020

This year Ribbon Day will be held on Wednesday, 19 August. On the day Middle and Senior Year girls are encouraged to wear bright and colourful clothing and to donate to our long-standing chosen charity - The Australian Cancer Research Foundation. Large ribbons will be on sale before school and every student will receive a lapel ribbon in Tutor that morning. We will have food stalls with sweet treats at morning tea and lunch as well as fried rice available for lunch. The day will also include a special guest performance by Mason Watts and our traditional mega raffle draw.

COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines will be followed with the service of food and receiving of money. We do ask if at all possible for the girls to bring correct change on the day rather than big notes so that we are not having to provide change. This will minimise the risk.

We need your help

We are looking for donations of raffle prizes - please bring items to Mrs Rollason’s office or to me in the next couple of weeks. All businesses who are able to support us will be mentioned during the draw and acknowledged in eNews that week. We are very grateful for the many businesses and individuals who are able to donate to our raffle draw.

We are also wanting to hear from anyone who is able to assist with baking and decorating some treats for the food stalls. Please let us know if you are able to help in this way to make the day a success.

Every blessing for your weekend.
