Chess News

Last weekend five Glennie girls competed in the annual Toowoomba District Chess Championships, held over two days. Over 90 students played in the Primary and over 60 students played in the Secondary.

Bailey Crisp (Year 6), Disha Gowda (Year 4), Ira Kedialya (Year 4), Mashal Imam (Year 7) and Rheanca Lincoln (Year 8) all had a fantastic time competing against other students around Toowoomba. Well done to everyone who participated and especially to Bailey Crisp for winning the Best Female Award in Primary and Rheanca Lincoln for winning the Best Female Award in Secondary.
