Creative members of the Glennie community are invited to exhibit at the upcoming School art show that is run in conjunction with the Glennie Fair.
Current and past students and staff, as well as their immediate families, are encouraged to nominate up to 10 artworks to display.
Exhibits may be any two-dimensional original artwork in any medium, giclee prints of original artwork, photography, sculpture or any other three-dimensional artwork, or fabric art suitable to hang, such as quilting.
Coordinated by the Glennie Old Girls’ Association (GOGA), the community art show has a proud history of showcasing the immense talent of artists who have a connection with Glennie.
Most artworks are for sale, with a commission going to GOGA to support the scholarship program and other projects.
Entries are due by Friday, 1 March. Email art show coordinator Teresa Mundt at email@example.com for more information.
Tickets to the gala opening night from 6:00 pm on Saturday, 9 March are now available online at trybooking.com/BAOGQ
The $25 ticket includes canapés, welcome drink, entertainment and a chance to be among the first to buy a piece of unique art.
The Glennie Community Art Show will be open during the Fair on Sunday, 10 March in the Assembly Hall.
