Open Conservatorium Griffith University is pleased to present the Australian Honours Ensemble Program (AHEP) from Thursday 3 - Sunday 6 October 2019 to be held at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University South Bank Campus, Brisbane.

AHEP is an extension of the extremely successful State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) which has been delivered in Queensland since 2001 and now includes 9 Regional, 2 South-East Queensland-based and 1 state-wide program.

AHEP provides an opportunity for secondary school (Years 7-12 inclusive) wind, brass, percussion, string, and voice students to work in an intensive environment of musical excellence, with their peers, under the leadership of a team of internationally eminent Australian conductors.

Nomination Criteria

  1. Year Level:   Students in Years 7 - 12
  2. Performance Level:  Instrument: Must have reached AMEB grade 6 (or equivalent) or above.  Vocal: Must have an AMEB grade 4 (or equivalent) and high-level choral experience
  1. Audition:  All nominees must be able to submit an audition video. We will email the audition requirements and instructions to all nominees once nominations have closed

The closing date for nominations is Friday 22 March. Please see Mrs Hawthorne at the PAC by Wednesday, 20 March 2019 should you wish to nominate.
