A Word From Our French Immersion Students

On Monday, 23 November, my fellow classmates and I graduated from the French Immersion Program. We received certificates, and prizes were handed out for the most positive and highest achievers. We had the pleasure of hosting the graduation ceremony in the backyard of Ms Evans’ home at school, so special thanks to her.

The past three years have been the best of my life. I have learnt new skills and hopefully a new language. I have formed bonds that will last forever and I have been taught by multiple high-class teachers. Unfortunately, we did not get to visit France but someday we will.

To my little class of Year 9s, we have been through a lot but it was worth it. To Mr Park-Ballay, thank you for all the magic tricks. A massive thank you to Ms Ousset-Vignal, I know you only came at the beginning of this term but you have created a large impact on our lives. I wanted to especially thank Mr Morere for the constant support and the organising of our events. Thank you all for everything, French Immersion was and is the greatest experience of my life.

Year 9 French Immersion Program student

For us, French Immersion has been an amazing experience. Although it was challenging, it was definitely worth it. As a class, it brought us close together and made us more confident in our studies. This program is a unique experience and we are grateful to have been able to be part of it. In the past three years, we have learnt a lot. Not only has it taught us about the French language and culture, but it has also helped us develop teamwork and problem-solving skills.

This has been a life-changing experience, one that we will cherish forever. Thank you to our teachers for your dedication and support, we will miss your classes and the fun we had. Merci Beaucoup.
